Last night's Calling sets.

In full, largely for proofreading purposes.

Okay. Mine, obviously, are 100% accurate. The other two are copied by Yrs Truly from handwritten notes and therefore may be open to errors. Especially when the song's by these foreign bleepmerchants of whose work I am, unfortunately, largely ignorant. I can't see the mailing lists I would normally stick this onto from work, so I'm putting it here. Any and all corrections gratefully received. Mockery on the breathtakingly moronic erros I've made is equally appropriate (although, strangely, not quite equally welcome). As an example, Moloheche (by San Droogs) is clearly not called or by any such thing, but I'm completely stumped.

Note: Morph's corrections have been applied.</strong>

[And, somewhere, Blue Monday, ASF's I Walk The Line, and Stagger Lee]
God, what a great night. Thank you thank you thank you thank you! :) :) :)

Bugger, and it *was* 'Open Up', I thought it was but I was on the other side of the room at the time and didn't entirely register. One day I'll actually get around to dancing to that track.

And, er. I wasn't there for 'Dead Stars' if Loki did play it, but I *was* there for the beginning of 'Blue Monday', which appears to have absented itself from the list.

'Initials B.B.' is wonderful and should be played much more often, so it should.

Proofreadin' thing
A couple of minor amendments below, mostly due to my cryptic abbreviations...

Shriekback - Nemesis (Arch Deviant mix)
Covenant - Call the Ships To Port (club edit)
Melotron - Folge Mir Ins Licht
Manuskript - Flies in the Marzipan (R)
Project Pitchfork - Timekiller (And One mix)

...and after NMA:Vengeance, but not noted down, ('cos I wasn't quite with it at that point) we had:

Chameleons - The Fan and The Bellows
Scarlet Fantastic - No Memory

It was, as ever, fun. Thanks for letting me back again!

Er... and I seem to have taken your copy of the new Rome Burns promo home by mistake. Should I post it back to you, or perhaps hand it to a trustworthy Camgoth at Gotham? Sorry, no brain...
Many thanks.

Blue Monday and Stagger Lee should be in there somewhere as well - during Loki's, I think.

The Rome Burns CD - either of them would be fine. Unless I can wangle another one out of Nevla, of course . . .
I'm sure I remember dancing to Alien Sex Fiend's "I walk the line" as well, in fact I clearly remember Mike falling over giggling when he heard the lyrics. Dunno when that will have been.

Front 242 - The Song That Goes Bubum Bubum Bum Bum, Tch *giggle* do you mean Headhunter? Or do they actually have one with such a daft name? And was I imagining it or did the same track get played again later? (This is one of these tracks I only know by hearing it played lots, only realised it was Front 242 by googling for the lyrics, had to google for the previous one too).

The Bolshoi - A Way made me feel like being back in Oxford, used to get played almost every week. Nice track.

You seem to have messed up a bit in adding Morph's corrections and it's now hard to see where his set ends and Loki's begins.

Yes, I did mean Headhunter. It'll eventually go onto the website under it's real name, I suppose. I knew it as The Song That Goes Bubum Bubum Bum Bum Tch well before I learned its proper name. There were quite a few of us then that thought it was well overplayed and took the piss slightly. Played again later? Could easily have been, I guess. I didn't notice myself, but then i wouldn't necessarily. I will ask the evening's other miscreants about it.
