I wish I'd turned up earlier now...

Thanks for a completely brilliant night, and thanks for playing Time Is Money!

Looking forward to the next one :)
Cheers. Good point about the next one - I'll just mention it upstairs . . .

Thanks for coming along.
Damn! We missed some bloody great songs!
Grr to early morning!
Life is hard. Never mind, though, it's only three weeks until the next one.
> The Sisters of Mercy - When you don't see me

Heavens... I thought it was illegal to play Goth music at Goth clubs these days... :-)
I too am wishing I'd turned up earlier. But I didn't wake up until 10.15. pm. Bloody sleep pattern, or lack of, really.
I should drop in sometime. Last time most people seemed to be away or busy, though.
Any club playing Fugazi and the Femmes is my kind of club. I really must try to get up there sometime.

*I would have played the Oizone cover of You're Gorgeous meself tho.
A good point, but (as is so often the case) I hadn't brought it in with me.
ahh you played Give Me The Cure before I got there! Have to get there sooner next time.
Thanks all for a great night - and it's great that you're posting the playlists.
daisy chainsaw - love your money, came after flying lizards

pretty like drugs was a red request, as was jesus built my hotrod - iggy pop was a bluey.

mind if i pilfer this list for gigantor_club ?
That's the general idea. I knew you'd have some corrections first, though.

Bloody hell.

And someone requested Pere Ubu? Wow.
A bit unexpected, that, but we also offered him 30 Seconds Over Tokyo. Given the circumstances, I think he made the right choice. He wasn't the only one dancing, as I remember - I think they were his friends, but they all seemed to know it. Very pleasing.
I like Pere Ubu. I heard one song duing a film and had to wait until the end to find out what it was. This was before I discovered the wonder that is the Internet Movie Database. I thing the song was called Wasted. It's wonderful.

*hunts out cd and puts in on*

Hmm, I don't think I really listened to the rest of the album. It's rather good.
They are in general very good, especially if you bear in mind that a lot ofstuff that happened since hadn't happened yet. I have a very good version of Final Solution on Pete Murphy's first solo albun. They were very influential.
aw, Mark missed Union City Blue. Shame. I think we left during Cannonball.

Thank you so much for playing Positively Punk. I think it's almost unsuitable as a Valentines day song. Unless you're rather sick and twisted or a bit mad. Yep, mad, that's me.
Fine song. I've no problem with it. Request SBA as often as you want.
Oh I will. I think Precious may be requested at the next Gigantor. I WILL be there even if my Mum has other ideas.
