Mr B's gone south again, and I've replaced my errant copy of White Russian Galaxy. In one way, I'm annoyed about having to this, but on the other hand, it's probably the best new song I've heard this year, so I don't resent it too much.

I also got the new album by Late-Uncle Warren, which is going well so far. The first track has Billy Bob Thornton and Dwight Yoakam on backing vocals, Ry Cooder playing washboguitar and Don Henley on (natch) drums.

It just gets better as it goes along. Rub Me Raw is the first blues number I've heard in ages that has had me excited, and the last track is, well, outstanding.
